Regardless of a person’s past athletic experience or current level of fitness, everyone who first comes to CrossFit MASS is provided with the opportunity to learn about basic techniques, terminology, pre-workout warm-ups and exercises before participating in regular CrossFit MASS classes. These are our Foundation classes. Taught by our experienced training staff, these classes are for first-timers only and consist of six one on one sessions scheduled at the client’s convenience, at the cost of $300.
As you work through the six sessions, you will learn about the correct form for basic, functional CrossFit movements, and slowly work up to increase your level of intensity. This Foundation building period is the perfect place to ask questions and practice moment patterns before transitioning into our regular classes.
Why one on ones? We know how busy you are these days, so we’ve designed our Foundations program to allow for that. All session are scheduled at your convince. The first four happen whenever you and your coach can meet, the last two occur in a full class setting with your coach acting as your wingman, guiding you thru a full CrossFit workout from start to finish.
If you are already familiar with CrossFit methodologies and have trained in another certified location, you may be eligible for CrossFit MASS’s Test-Out option. We offer a one-hour private session with our trainers to review your fitness level and knowledge of CrossFit. If you are able to demonstrate competency in CrossFit movements, you may wish to consider this Test-Out opportunity. The cost for this one-hour session is $80 per person.
